     We couldn't be more pleased! Life circumstances brought on the need to place beloved Charlie with another family. The call came to us in just one day, from the post here on Rescue Me. From the beginning of the call, it was almost unbelievable that Charlie could be getting EVERY 'dream' that his owner wanted for him: a beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood, sidewalks & a FENCED yard, a new canine pal (that needs him as much as he needs a new pal!), a retirement-age owner with ample time for beloved pets, a clean and up-to-date and satisfactory veterinarian referral on new owner, AND best of all, new owners that are crazy in love with their four-legged babies! VERY hard letting beloved Charlie go, but wow! God is so good, we give Him thanks & praise! For placing the new family on our journey, and giving us the knowledge to reach out to Rescue Me.

     I have been a subscriber to a number of terrier sites for a long time, as I had a wire haired fox terrier growing up and have always had a love for them. We have a hectic household and already have a Welsh terrier, but my husband and myself were struck by Jack's photo and story. He was so loving when we went to meet him Sunday and is precious. Our Welsh is having a bit of an adjustment, but it has only been two days, so I am optimistic that they will grow to love each other.

     I came to foster Gilly when her owner passed away and the person who took custody of her could not foster her in her home. After posting Gilly on Rescue Me her custodian and I made arrangements for Nebraska No Kill Canine Rescue to take responsibility for screening her permanent placement. That next morning I received an email through Rescue Me which I forwarded to Nebraska No Kill and, in the end, the family that inquired through Rescue Me has been approved as Gilly's new family. Gilly's original home was in Nebraska. Her new home will be in Colorado. Without the national reach of the Rescue Me web site, I think a successful placement would have been much more problematic. I cannot thank Rescue Me enough for the huge role it played in achieving this wonderful outcome for Gilly.

     I've had a very good experience with RescueMe.Org...I have had wire fox terriers for over 30 years and my last two have been rescues. I always check to see if there are any in the San Diego Area and one day searching my net for rescues, I found yours. I have three wire fox terriers, one 15, one 9 adopted, and one 7 adopted. On your site Abby came up and it was a courtesy listing, but it pulled my heartstrings that she needed a home, because she had lost hers and had to go to an apartment. To make it even worse, when I contacted the lady, she had just been in a car accident and had to board Abby for a extended length of time and has a pretty big bill to pay. I went to see her today at the kennel/boarding and she was adorable! I donated some money for her care there, and brought her home, gave her a bath, and she gets along with my dogs just beautifully. She will need dental work and vet check, so I'll have to wait to give you a donation, but as soon as I can, I will. Thank you so much for all you do. Valerie McKay
