     I came to foster Gilly when her owner passed away and the person who took custody of her could not foster her in her home. After posting Gilly on Rescue Me her custodian and I made arrangements for Nebraska No Kill Canine Rescue to take responsibility for screening her permanent placement. That next morning I received an email through Rescue Me which I forwarded to Nebraska No Kill and, in the end, the family that inquired through Rescue Me has been approved as Gilly's new family. Gilly's original home was in Nebraska. Her new home will be in Colorado. Without the national reach of the Rescue Me web site, I think a successful placement would have been much more problematic. I cannot thank Rescue Me enough for the huge role it played in achieving this wonderful outcome for Gilly.

     I've had a very good experience with RescueMe.Org...I have had wire fox terriers for over 30 years and my last two have been rescues. I always check to see if there are any in the San Diego Area and one day searching my net for rescues, I found yours. I have three wire fox terriers, one 15, one 9 adopted, and one 7 adopted. On your site Abby came up and it was a courtesy listing, but it pulled my heartstrings that she needed a home, because she had lost hers and had to go to an apartment. To make it even worse, when I contacted the lady, she had just been in a car accident and had to board Abby for a extended length of time and has a pretty big bill to pay. I went to see her today at the kennel/boarding and she was adorable! I donated some money for her care there, and brought her home, gave her a bath, and she gets along with my dogs just beautifully. She will need dental work and vet check, so I'll have to wait to give you a donation, but as soon as I can, I will. Thank you so much for all you do. Valerie McKay
