Rescue Me ID: 18-05-20-00068Manny (male)

Fox Terrier Mix    Age: Puppy

Silly Manny is a very happy, friendly, energetic boy that loves to spend his day playing and wresting with other dogs, going on long walks and playing lots of learning games. He is approx 10mo old and currently weighs about 9lbs. He is a very smart little guy, and very agile so he'd be a great agility dog or even a hiking companion. He's also very quiet so he'd be a great office or condo dog companion. Manny gets along wonderful with children but kids over 8yrs old would be best. He is fully crate and house trained but because of his young age, he should not be left alone for more than 6hr intervals.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Fox Terrier in Washington
Fox Terrier Dogs can make good pets in Washington if they match your IifestyIe. Fox Terriers have been around for centuries and have been bred to produce a number of different types of dogs. Today, Fox Terrier generally refers to either a Smooth or Wire-haired variety, which are virtually identical with the exception of their coats. Fox Terriers are playful, affectionate, scrappy little dogs. Fox Terriers get along well with children and can typically be socialized to interact well with other dogs, although they have been known to pick fights with much larger canines. Fox Terriers may hunt non-canine pets, especially birds. This breed needs plenty of exercise and should be kept on a leash or in a fenced yard because of its tendency to chase and explore. Fox Terriers can live in an apartment if they get enough exercise.
