Hello there! My name is Billie Jean. I am a female Toy Fox Terrier sweetheart estimated at 2-3 years old. I weigh only 5 lbs and am quite petite. I am white in color with lots of black spots. I arrived into Puppy Pals Rescue when they were contacted by our member in KY that I needed a home. I have been spayed, have received all my shots, have been heartworm and fecal tested (results negative) and will be micro-chipped before adoption. I am a real love bug, a cuddler, a kisser, and a wonderful little girl. I love to sleep in bed with you under the covers (although I will, and have, stayed in a crate). I prefer to sleep with ... (Read More)you though. I love to get under the covers all the way to the end by your feet. When you're watching TV, I love to cuddle up next to you or take a nap on the back of the couch where I can look out the window and bark at the squirrels and birds. I am working on my house-training. I'm not perfect, but doing much better than when I first arrived in my foster home. I'm about 90% there! I get along with the other dogs here and have designated myself as the puppy-sitter to a litter of pups we have at my foster home. When their mom goes outside, I will lay next to the xpen and watch the puppies so they don't get into trouble. They all look like me and I easily blend in with them. I love to go on car rides and on walks on the leash. I like to sit in the glider swing in the backyard with my foster mom and watch all the birds and see all the dogs chase one another. I enjoy life. I love to eat too! My foster mom can't believe how much I eat and asks how I stay so thin! My ideal home would be with an older couple or a single person who might be home with me all day. I'm not built to be an active family dog who is going to enjoy running after small children. I'm too small for children under 8 years old - I can be easily injured if dropped or stepped on. A fenced-in yard would be nice, but in my case might not be necessary if you are able to walk me and take me outside to potty during all seasons. My foster mom will be very selective in my placement due to my size and needs. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email her at the link below! If you have any questions please contact my foster mom at the link found at Fill out an application if you are interested in adopting me - you can find those at (Email my foster home and let them know you applied so they can be sure the application is received!) I just can't wait to find a forever home! Thanks!!! (Less)

Rescue Me ID: 16-07-25-00535Jeffy (male)

Fox Terrier Mix    Age: Young Adult

Compatibility: Not Good with Other Dogs, Good with Adults (Not Kids)
Personality: Average Energy, Very Submissive
Health: Neutered, Vaccinations Current

this is my furry little best friend Jeffy. He is a great and lovable dog that has brought me nothing but happiness in the time I've had him. He is generally not good with other dogs and is aggressive around his food. He has had incidents with my parents dog and my roommates puppy, but usually only around or over his food. He's only had one incident with humans and he bit my young daughter who got too close to his food, which is why I have to get rid of him. I'm running out of time and options on what to do with him and just want to make sure my little fur baby finds a good home with someone who will care for him and love him as much as I do.

PIease Read Before Adopting a Fox Terrier in Ohio
Fox Terrier Dogs can make good pets in Ohio if they match your IifestyIe. Fox Terriers have been around for centuries and have been bred to produce a number of different types of dogs. Today, Fox Terrier generally refers to either a Smooth or Wire-haired variety, which are virtually identical with the exception of their coats. Fox Terriers are playful, affectionate, scrappy little dogs. Fox Terriers get along well with children and can typically be socialized to interact well with other dogs, although they have been known to pick fights with much larger canines. Fox Terriers may hunt non-canine pets, especially birds. This breed needs plenty of exercise and should be kept on a leash or in a fenced yard because of its tendency to chase and explore. Fox Terriers can live in an apartment if they get enough exercise.
