Rescue Me ID: 14-07-14-00050Misty (female)

Fox Terrier    Age: Adult

Health: Spayed, Vaccinations Current

Misty found herself in doggy jail (dog pound). She was picked up as a stray and no one ever came looking for her. She was so scared and so nervous being at the pound, all those dogs barking, being in a concrete cell with no bed, she was just shaking in fear. Misty is a little nervous but adjusting well to being to being out of the pound. She is fine with all people and kids but does shy away from really fast movements. She walks fine on a leash and is fine with all dogs, even annoying little puppies in the rescue. Misty just wants a lap and a house and love! age: 5 years Toy Fox Terrier

PIease Read Before Adopting a Fox Terrier in Ohio
Fox Terrier Dogs can make good pets in Ohio if they match your IifestyIe. Fox Terriers have been around for centuries and have been bred to produce a number of different types of dogs. Today, Fox Terrier generally refers to either a Smooth or Wire-haired variety, which are virtually identical with the exception of their coats. Fox Terriers are playful, affectionate, scrappy little dogs. Fox Terriers get along well with children and can typically be socialized to interact well with other dogs, although they have been known to pick fights with much larger canines. Fox Terriers may hunt non-canine pets, especially birds. This breed needs plenty of exercise and should be kept on a leash or in a fenced yard because of its tendency to chase and explore. Fox Terriers can live in an apartment if they get enough exercise.
