|Rescue Me ID: 16-05-15-00164Zena (female)|
Zena was adopted, along with her brother Zeus, when she was 8 weeks old. I would like to see her remain with Zeus, but as along as she goes to a loving family, that is all that counts. She is a very playful and loving.

Zeus was adopted along with his sister, Zena, when he was 8 weeks old. I would like to see him remain with his sister, but as long as he goes to a good home, I am willing to separate him. He is a fantastic and very loyal dog. He is not aggressive and loves people once he gets to know them.

|Animal ID: 16-04-07-00420COCO (female)|
COCO is a VERY CUTE, adorable 9 month old, 25 lb, chocolate terrier mix pup who was saved from a high kill shelter, where she and her litter mates had been turned in. She is a wonderful 'cinnamony' color, with unique grey hair effects on her back above the below chocolate coloring. A docile, gentle, playful, sweet, fun loving girl, who is eager to please and responds terrifically to praise and kindness. Coco loves to give kisses! Coco gets along terrifically with other dogs, even large ones. Coco is spayed, current on vaccinations, house-trained and crate-trained. All of our rescued dogs have been on a nutritional regime which includes high quality food and supplements (ex., probiotics; vitamins, etc). This is done to bolster their immune systems and overall health; the result benefits their adoptive family with a pooch who has a lustrious coat, bright shiny eyes, and happy and healthy disposition. |Rescue Me ID: 15-12-08-00782Howie (male)|
Howie was picked up as a stray in Akron around Thanksgiving and put into foster care about a week later with one of our volunteers. Upon intake Howie had severe flea dermatitis and was underweight. His hair has since grown back for the most part but his skin is still on the dry side, although that is continually improving. He has gained about. 2.5 pounds since coming to the rescue thanks to proper nutrition and care. Unfortunately Howie has only one tooth left (his canine tooth) due to severe dental decay and disease. With that being said, he is on a soft food diet but his lack of teeth doesn't slow him down in eating. He also has a fatty tumor on his chest but the vet has determined that at this time it does not pose a problem to his overall health and it causes him no problems.Howie is a very happy little fella; he loves cuddles and naps under warm blankets. He isn't interested in toys or much playing but he gets along fine with other animals. He is still very much able to walk and get around on his own, he does fine with a few stairs but won't jump on or off furniture. Howie is crated when his foster mom is not home and keeps his crate clean. He doesn't usually signal to go outside during the day but has woken up his foster mom at night to go. He will be most successful if he is just made to go outside in regular increments. Howie would love nothing more than a quiet home with lots of love. Howie's foster mom is happy to answer any further questions or discuss any concerns you may have should you want to make Howie a member of your family. (Less)

Fox Terrier Dogs can make good pets in Ohio if they match your IifestyIe. Fox Terriers have been around for centuries and have been bred to produce a number of different types of dogs. Today, Fox Terrier generally refers to either a Smooth or Wire-haired variety, which are virtually identical with the exception of their coats. Fox Terriers are playful, affectionate, scrappy little dogs. Fox Terriers get along well with children and can typically be socialized to interact well with other dogs, although they have been known to pick fights with much larger canines. Fox Terriers may hunt non-canine pets, especially birds. This breed needs plenty of exercise and should be kept on a leash or in a fenced yard because of its tendency to chase and explore. Fox Terriers can live in an apartment if they get enough exercise.
